To promote the academic, social and general wellbeing of the youth and young adults who are disadvantaged so that they gain economic independence and realize their potential
We envision a better World where the youth and young adults explore their full life, meaningful work, good health and make a positive contribution to society.
ScaleUp Future began after one of Charley’s usual visits to Ghana. He saw the number of young adults and youth who are on the streets selling and roaming about with no sense of direction instead of being in the classroom. Further inquiry into the reality uncovered a desperate need for education. He was moved by their situation and decided to do something about it.
In May, 2015, ScaleUp Future was founded as a public charity to serve as the umbrella that works to provide opportunity to enhance self-sufficiency and promote education, training, employment to enable the youth and young adults scale up into the future with confidence.
ScaleUp Future works with diverse nonprofit and government agencies and organizations across Ghana (including public schools, churches, and more) to help ensure that all youth and young adults get education, training and employment.
ScaleUp Future is a registered non-governmental organization headquartered in Accra, Ghana.
